The Greenway is a superb Elizabethan country manor house which has retained its' historic features and charming character and takes its' name after the pre-Roman path running beside the building which dates from its' construction in 1584. Located just outside of Regency Cheltenham Spa and set in gardens of national renown it is perhaps Cheltenham's finest Country house hotel. The Greenway was the late Queen Mother's favourite base for many years during Cheltenham Gold Cup week. During 2008 The Manor House has seen a wonderful transformation as all of the eleven bedrooms have undergone a full refurbishment. The designs have succeeded in capturing the historical spirit of The Greenway whilst injecting a taste of modernity and contemporary stylishness. Original wooden furniture new ultra-comfortable beds and tastefully vibrant soft furnishings have been blended together to create the feeling of a luxurious home away from home.In keeping with the bedrooms the restaurant lounges and bar are cloaked with an air of dignified style and create a warm ambience and welcome as soon as guests step through the front door. Furnished with fine antique furniture which harmonises perfectly with the recent more contemporary refurbishments transforming the hotel into a luxurious and stylish retreat offering guests a unique combination of sophisticated elegance and rural informality.The Manor HouseOur recently refurbished Manor House offers 11 luxurious bedrooms which have been individually furnished to very high standards many with original antique furniture and fine paintings all boasting stylish en-suite bathrooms.
